Karela United put up another firm performance at home to post a 2-0 win over Gold Stars on Sunday in the Ghana Premier League.

The Passioners scored a goal in either half to seal the points.

Midfielder Bashir Umar opened the scoring in the 42nd minute at the Crosby Awuah Memorial Park.

Five minutes after recess, Samuel Atta Kumi  added the second to lift them further on the table.

It is now a third consecutive win for Bismark Kobby Mensah's side at home after already accounting for Elmina Sharks and Dreams FC.
